Guided walking tours of historic Clondalkin village encompassing Clondalkin Round Tower*, reputed to be the oldest intact round tower in existence; 18th century St John's Church and graveyard, the medieval remains of St Crónán Mochua, Alms Houses, Tully's Castle and St Brigid's Well where you can see the last remaining rag tree in Dublin. On the way, learn about Clondalkin's rich Viking past!
Guided tours start times: 6.30pm and 7.30pm only.
Meeting point: Civic Plaza (opposite The Mill Centre at the junction of Ninth Lock Road and Orchard Rd), Clondalkin Village, Dublin 2
*Note: The Round Tower will be viewed from the outside (no access to the inside).
Follow the tour up with a visit to Áras Chrónáin, Ionad Cultúir (Orchard Road) for refreshments, traditional music and dance from 8.30pm until 12 pm.
